Gifts come in so many ways...sometimes a smile, sometimes a wink, sometimes a phone call...this time it comes in the way of food π I'm lucky enough to receive some great local produce, and not just a piece of something that i don't let my eyes stare at long enough and contimplate the effort and love gone in. A chunk of precious time these food creators take to entwine their magic from the fisherman/woman, to filleting, to smoking, to kneading, to feeding hens and their laying, ingredients combined, running their business and families and all the while handing a slice of their critiqued mouthful of dreams to me...thank you π
