How often do you get to go to an event that’s by farmers, for farmers? Not often. What the Farm!? will be an amazing gathering on Githabul country in late August - see you there!

Real solutions bring people together, hear their voices, foster community, build power and make demands of those who can make change. Everything else is PR.

Oh no, not another farmer talking about capital gains tax! (Ps don’t read this as defending the federal government - they were too weak to stand up to foreign gas companies pinching our resources for free)

We NEVER get out in the paddocks together, so today was extra fun. Scrolled past some FB infographic saying there was heaps of rain coming, so we lost our minds.

You've read about it in the 99.7% LOCAL NEWS and now this week on Shoot the Breeze, Frank heads into the egg sorting shed at Belvedere Farm to catch up with Brydie Holliday and Stacey Clapperton.

Neighbours, mates and farming women, Brydie and Stacey share a deep love of the land and a passion for producing high-quality, nutrient-dense food.

Belvedere Farm, at Bullcamp just outside Nanango, is a regenerative mixed farming operation producing free range pork, beef and eggs. But behind the beautiful produce is a very real story — livestock, land care, young families, long days, big dreams and yes… bank payments.

Brydie grew up in the city. Stacey grew up on a farm. Together, they bring energy, grit and heart to life on the land.

Tune in to Shoot the Breeze in May to hear their story.
