WE WENT UNDER_water. NOT OUT.
Six months ago, the 2026 floods went through our East Bundaberg sites.
They didn't just leave water and mud and garden mulch behind. They destroyed stock, interrupted production, disrupted our ability to trade and meant customers couldn't simply jump onto our online store and replace what had been lost by buying from us.
Despite the scale of the damage, we were not granted the government disaster support we sought (can't sell on a website something you don't have, yeah we know 🤔)
We reached out across Local, Queensland State and Federal Government, explaining what had happened, what had been lost and what rebuilding a "small" manufacturing business after a flood actually looks like.
But whether support came or not, we still had a decision to make:
Rebuild.
For six months, that's exactly what we've been doing.
Cleaning. Repairing. Rebuilding. Recovering equipment. Re-establishing production. Working through damaged and destroyed stock. Blending again. Bottling again. And putting Waterview back together piece by piece (literally, cranes were involved).
We have invested 13+ years into manufacturing here in Bundaberg, Qld and Australia, and we're demonstrating our commitment to staying here by rebuilding here.
So as our products gradually start appearing again, we want our customers, suppliers, friends, those who dislike the wider Bundaberg community and anyone out products reach gloabally to know something important:
We haven't gone out of business.
We definitely went under water — but we didn't go out of business!
There is still a long way to go, and not every product will return at once. As stock is blended, bottled, labelled and released, we'll keep letting you know what's available. (And based on your emails and feedback on most wanted).
Thank you to everyone who has checked in, helped, purchased from us, supplied us, shared our story or simply asked:
“Are you guys still there?”
Yes.
Still here. Still rebuilding. Still Bundaberg / Australian owned.
2013 Floods was the year we "Unearthed" and Re-established
2026 Floods we are marking as our year of "Resilience".
Nothing has been easy from details and disruptions thou the region has benefited and seen that it is possible to achieve in modern times and persistence, pressure and pain pays off.
