Woke up at nearly 7 AM to my kid tugging at my quilt, but at 8°C, I was physically glued to the bed 🥶… Fast forward to 9 AM, it was already 20°C. Jacket off, T-shirt on! By midday, we hit a warm 26°C. 🎢☀️

That’s spring in Bundaberg for you. Cool mornings give way to warm golden days, and within just a few hours, you can feel the season turning. The farm is officially waking up. Our mango trees are covered in fluffy blossoms, and flowers are bursting everywhere! 🥭🌸✨

For growers, the changing seasons are more than just changes in temperature. They are nature’s calendar. Spring, summer, autumn, winter… each brings its own rhythm, its own work, and its own gifts. 🌿🌏💚

Has anyone tried adding Holy Basil to pickles before? 🪻🌿🫙

While making a batch of pickled vegetables with our homemade mango vinegar, I had a spontaneous idea to toss in some Holy Basil flowers and leaves.

What a surprise! The tangy vinegar paired beautifully with the cooling, minty notes of Holy Basil.

Definitely one of those happy accidents worth repeating. 😋
