Looking for ONE new team member for Burraduc Farm in Mid North Coast, NSW

We hope to find an enthusiastic and dynamic person able to switch between a variety of tasks

- Milking water buffaloes in the morning and working in the cheese lab producing mozzarella and other fresh artisan cheeses in the afternoons (We are happy to train the right candidate)

- Building and repairing fences, gardening, general property/equipment upkeep when time and weather allow

You would need to

- be physically and mentally fit for demanding outdoor work and safe handling of large animals

- have high standards, work ethics, attention to detail and initiative

- have genuine interest in working with animals and be willing to learn

- be handy with tools/machinery and preferably have previous experience in carpentry/construction/fence building/landscaping

This position is eligible for 2nd and 3rd year extention. Accommodation is available for a rental fee.

This coastal location and lifestyle is ideal for water sports/nature enthusiast.

Farming in winter with rain, sunshine, mud and rainbows

Our koala conservation project together with Mid North Coast Council and Bungwahl Bush Regeneration brigade is now complete! The last year floods interrupted the plans and delayed the works but we tried our best whenever the weather allowed. The creek running from Myall Lake National Park through our paddocks is now completely fenced off on both sides with rural fence complemented by electric wire for extra protection from buffalo horns. The creek crossing, the new gates and the water troughs are now in place. And most excitingly 1500 native trees of different local species have been planted in the last two weeks! We hope the new trees thrive and grow to eventually give food, shelter and comfort to many creatures we share this beautiful land with

DRINK for THE WILD: kefir makes me think of dingoes 💖 light, fizzy, sharp and full of energy.
The dingoes of course love buffalo milk and cottage cheese 🙂 but KEFIR is their absolute favorite. Because they know what is important. Fermented foods are necessary for our health and longevity
