Our koala conservation project together with Mid North Coast Council and Bungwahl Bush Regeneration brigade is now complete! The last year floods interrupted the plans and delayed the works but we tried our best whenever the weather allowed. The creek running from Myall Lake National Park through our paddocks is now completely fenced off on both sides with rural fence complemented by electric wire for extra protection from buffalo horns. The creek crossing, the new gates and the water troughs are now in place. And most excitingly 1500 native trees of different local species have been planted in the last two weeks! We hope the new trees thrive and grow to eventually give food, shelter and comfort to many creatures we share this beautiful land with
