Oh what a day. Last night about 7pm we had a bolt of lightning and thunder very close to the house. This morning we drove to see if there was any damage and found 2 of our beautiful charbray bulls dead under one of our huge gum trees. They had been struck by the lightning. Our neighbour, Greg Taylor from Iron Bark Demolitions came to the rescue with the use of one of his excavators. One of his staff Paul dug the hole and had them buried in about 30 minutes. This neighbourly action saved us a lot of hard work and stress disposing of the bodies. Big thanks go out to Greg and Paul.

Very happy with this beautiful boy "Walter" born to a very fertile cow (pictured also) who has had 12 calves in 10 years.

We were one of the lucky producers selected by the LPA for an audit. The date was duly arranged. Last Friday the 31st October our auditor arrived and we passed with flying colours. Thanks mainly to our continued use of Stockbook and ensuring that we fill in our records on a regular basis and keep all our information up to date. This should give all our customers confidence that we are following the guidelines of the LPA for the cattle industry.
