A great deal done: preventive spray with our Zinc and Sulphur to ensure the woolly buds are protected.

First 2026 Shiraz bud.

For 23 years bud burst has always been in the first few days of September - this year we are 10 September.

It has been cold here this year and this week still 8 degs at 7am. So ground and earth still cold so delayed budding.

So, fingers crossed for a successful season.

Rain, stay away and let my canes bloom and set fruit without the wretched dampness.
