In short: Yes, we are.

Burradoo Park Farm is a working, regenerative farm. That means what you see here is not just for show. Crops are grown, animals are managed and the land is actively farmed every day.

What makes it different is that we’ve opened the gates. Alongside the day-to-day of farming, we’ve created a place where people can walk through the paddocks, see how things work and connect more closely with where their food comes from.

It’s a real farm, just one that invites you in.

When most people think about chickens, they think about eggs.

At Burradoo Park Farm, our chickens certainly provide those, but they also play an important role in the way we care for the land.

As they move through the paddocks, they scratch, peck and forage naturally. In doing so, they help spread manure, break down organic matter and return nutrients back into the soil. They also help keep insects in balance and encourage healthy soil biology, all by simply behaving as chickens should.

It's a great example of what regenerative farming looks like in practice. Rather than relying on additional machinery or synthetic inputs, wherever possible, we look for ways to work with nature. Every animal on the farm has a role to play and our chickens are no exception.

Together with our cattle, sheep, pollinators and composting systems, they're part of a connected cycle that helps build healthier soils, supports biodiversity and produces nutrient-dense food.

Next time you see our flock scratching away in the paddock, you'll know they're doing much more than looking for their next meal. They're helping us care for the farm, one scratch at a time.

This is not your usual gelato.

Our Gelato Store is a concept space built around vegetables, flavour and seasonality. Fresh ingredients are reimagined into something unexpected. Not sweet in the traditional sense, but layered, balanced and seasonal. The result is familiar in texture but different in experience, a way of tasting ingredients you might not expect to find in gelato.

Available as a single, double, cup, cone, or take-home tub.

This space is all about one of the hardest working parts of the farm, our bees.

Here, you can learn more about how hives function, the role bees play as pollinators and why they’re so important to everything we grow. From the orchard to the market garden, their work supports the systems that keep the farm productive and in balance.

Take a look at our hives located at the back of The Orchard near the dam in Paddock 4.

Stock mustering on horseback is our preferred method to move cattle across the farm.

This approach allows for calm, low stress handling and a closer connection to both the animals and the land.

Moving on horseback reduces noise, avoids the pressure of machinery and gives cattle space to flow naturally rather than react. It is a slower rhythm but one that supports animal wellbeing and clearer decision making in the field.

Our stock management is rooted in quiet work, steady movement and attention to detail.

Not every classroom has four walls.

At Burradoo Park Farm, learning happens in the paddocks, around the gardens, beside the animals... and inside The Library.

Created with the help of donated books from our community, it's a quiet corner of the farm where you can pause for a while, pick up a book and discover something new. From regenerative farming and gardening to food, insects and nature, it's a place to explore ideas at your own pace.

Because curiosity doesn't need an itinerary. Sometimes all it needs is a good book and a quiet place to read it.

Before the gates open and the first coffee is poured, the day is already well underway in the market garden.

Early morning is one of the best times to harvest. The cool temperatures help keep vegetables at their freshest, allowing produce to be picked, washed and packed while preserving its quality before making its way to The Farmhouse and the Three Blue Ducks restaurant.

Winter might look quieter than summer, but it's one of the busiest seasons in the garden. As the weather cools, different crops take their place, reminding us that farming isn't about growing the same thing all year round. It's about working with the seasons and harvesting what naturally thrives at that time.

Everything we grow begins with healthy soil. Through crop rotation, composting and regenerative farming practices, we're focused on building a system that supports the land while producing fresh, seasonal food.

It's a little slower than conventional farming and that's exactly the point.

Every early morning harvest is another step in connecting people with where their food comes from and the care that goes into growing it.

Our cattle are central to how this farm functions. They’re not just grazing grass, they’re helping build soil. Through planned rotational grazing, the herd is moved regularly to give pastures time to rest and recover.

Well-managed grazing mimics natural herd movement. It encourages nutrient cycling, improves water retention and supports biodiversity across the landscape. The cattle benefit from fresh pasture and the land benefits from their impact.

Fresh from our fields to your kitchen.

Our seasonal produce is available in The Farmhouse. From freshly harvested vegetables to our farm eggs, it’s the easiest way to take a piece of Burradoo Park Farm home with you.

Our veggie boxes are filled with what’s thriving on the farm that week. No two boxes are exactly the same, each one reflects the season, the soil and the work happening out in the paddocks and garden.

The Flower Farm might look a little different right now... and that's exactly as it should.

Winter is a season of preparation. While the blooms take a well-earned break, we're busy planting, turning over beds, enriching the soil and preparing for the months ahead.

It's all part of working with the seasons, not against them. Regenerative farming means thinking beyond what's happening today and making decisions that support healthy plants, healthy soil and abundant harvests in the future.

Come spring, The Flower Farm will begin to burst back into colour. Until then, every seed planted and every bed prepared is another step towards the next growing season.

Sometimes the most important work happens long before the flowers appear.
