Not food related but…
Yesterday I posted this priceless moment of my Dad reacting to my niece as a flower girl on my personal TikTok. After watching it many times over on my phone, I decided I wanted to share this little moment of nothing but pure love with the world. In what can feel like an increasingly dystopian, sick, sad, unfair, depressing world, it’s times like this that make me regain my faith in humanity. I truly believe all humans want is love and to be loved and I hope that this video can help give you a little bit of that feeling too because I really think we need love and hope right now more than ever ♥️
A little page update- if you’ve been an Eating Up follower for a while, you’ve probably noticed our lack of posting. I met a gorgeous gal named Lexi today in Mecca George St who told me that she missed our Eating Up content, I explained to her that with everything that has happened and is happening in this world, our motivation to post about food is slowly becoming nonexistent. It feels trivial to post anything at all at this time and I’m sure so many people feel this way. A little while after our chat I started thinking about how we started this page and where it’s going. It’s hard to believe we started this page 12 years ago! How incredibly lucky we have been with all of the doors that this page has opened up for us, all of the beautiful people we have met along the way and all of the incredible followers we’re so fortunate to have! So THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for joining us on this ride of life ♥️ this certainly isn’t the end of Eating Up, it’s just the start of another chapter ♥️
