Now that we are stopping for a while we're going to order a few more things. We have a big YETI water bottle and has kept our water cold while working in some seriously hot conditions in the Pilbara.

Love a good Boerwors on the BBQ. Traditionally these should be cooked over charcoal ( Brai in Sth Africa 🇿🇦 ) but there are different restrictions here in WA over the hotter months but don't let that stop you from running one on the Baby Q. The flavours in an authentic Boerwors are amazing and worth going into your nearest Sth African store and get one. While you're there grab some Mrs HS Balls Chutney as a dipping sauce to go with it.

Dinner tonight to celebrate the Parsley Queens ( aka My wife Dee ) birthday. Baked a whole Red Throat Emperor on the Baby Q marinated with a Spicy Miso sauce and served whole on a bed of Ramen noodles with bamboo shoots, Bok Choy, soft boiled eggs and Miso soup. Stunning meal especially in a caravan 🤣🤣

A big thanks to Peter at Blue Ridge Marron in Manjimup for helping us pick out a couple of nice Marron to put on the Baby Q for dinner tonight. We spooned melted butter mixed with chilli, onion, garlic, ginger and seasoned with salt and pepper. We served it on a bed of Asian noodle salad and a couple of fresh lemon wedges.
