For the past 10 years we have been quietly, and passionately, doing our thing on a patch of very special dirt in the South west of Western Australia. I may be a kelpie living on a vineyard, but I greatly admire these guys! THE best of the best ....

There is a little bit of sheep dog hidden away though in me which does come out when Neil jumps on the farm bike and we move our sheep,

There's even dogs being driven over from WA to compete here - impressed! 🐾

Every livestock farm needs a good set of yards, and every farmer needs a handy yard dog. These dogs are the best of the best.

I'm back! It's been a while ... been getting ready for vintage which is serious stuff and it has kept me away from my social media posts

Ready in the car for a trip out sampling grapes in the vineyards - yippee!!

(Wish Cath would hurry up, seems like I've been waiting here for ages. Got my water packed and my fold up travel bowl ....) 🐾

Well, I love BOTH Neil and Cath ... and they mean the world to me!
I love them unconditionally, no matter what they do or say, or what they don't do sometimes - like leave me at home when they go out. BUT, they always come back! They care for me and look after my every need, they love me and I love them back! I try my very best always to keep them happy, and to be a good dog, and comfort them when they feel down or sick ... 🐾

Some Whicher Ridge Farm memories ... my mate Spit when he was a little tacker ...wish sometimes he was still small, much more manageable size, more fun to play with and less stroppy. He's still my mate though and an important part of the farm family

I've already helped move the sheep this morning, now it's waiting for Cellar Door to open and helping Cath garden.

I'm feeling a little bit precious today .... It's been quiet at Cellar Door, NO visitors!! Cath's been working in the office, Neil's on the tractor and I've been, well, at a loose end ....
I miss having visitors, really miss doing the 'Meet & Greet', and so miss the pats and being told by a complete stranger that I am gorgeous and so well behaved .... 🐾🙄🐾

Maybe tomorrow will be a better day and we will get some visitors ... hoping, and got my paws crossed!

I've been SOOO busy leading into Christmas I've been spending the last few days simply relaxing and catching up on some much needed R & R ...
