eginning a gelato craze in the state. Our gelati are made with the finest Italian ice cream bases and the freshest Australian ingredients to create a range of flavours. Our aim is to source as much local, fresh produce from the South West to create our flavours. For example, our extremely popular Wild Flower Honey, Rosemary and Orange Zest gelato is made with honey from local beekeper, Brian Bunter, oranges from the South West and rosemary from our home garden. Some of the finest and most popular flavours include Stracciatella (Chocolate Chip), Fragola (Strawberry), Limone (Lemon), Cioccolato ( Chocolate), Cioccolato Fondente ( Dark Chocolate), Yohurt & Caramilsed Fig, Jarrah Honey & Roasted Macadamia, Wildflower Honey, Rosemary & Orange Zest. All gelati are gluten-free, and we have a range of dairy-free options. Our gelati contain no additives, colourings or artificial flavours.

Our Story

Gelato Buonissimo is the first and longest-running authentic Italian ice creamery in Western Australia, and is greatly responsible for beginning a gelato craze in the state. Our gelati are made with the finest Italian home-made gelato base and the freshest Australian ingredients to create a range of over 60 flavours, choosing a different selection to sell every day. Our aim is to source as much local, fresh produce from the South West to create our flavours. For example, our extremely popular Wild Flower Honey, Rosemary and Orange Zest gelato is make with honey from local beekeper, Brian Bunter, oranges from the South West and rosemary from our home garden. Some of the finest and most popular flavours include Pannacotta (Creme Caramel), Nocciola (Hazelnut), Pistacchio, Stracciatella (Chocolate Chip), Amarena (Sour Cherry) and Cioccolato Fondente (a diary-free, high percentage cacao and Lindt couverture chocolate). The cafe also offers delicious Segafredo coffee (served with a complimentary home-made chocolate spoon during the winter months), home-made Hot Chocolate, home-made cakes and gluten-free Brownies, Biscuits from Claudio Biscotti and home-made waffles in the colder months. Gelato cakes, which each include 3-4 flavours, are available upon request. All gelati are gluten-free, and we have a range of dairy-free options. Our gelati contain no additives, colourings or artificial flavours.
