There are a few tickets left for our Paint and Sip with Alpacas this Saturday 13 June from 12pm - 4pm. If you haven’t already experienced this fun, creative and relaxing event, you are missing out!!

Paint in the paddock amongst our very friendly alpacas under the expert guidance of Di and Bruce from Paint Sip and Giggle with all materials provided. Meet our adorable miniature donkeys and baby goats and hand feed our alpacas. It is as simple as:

Our Nigerian dwarf goat Hazel was due today, but she decided she had enough on Sunday and delivered a gorgeous pigeon pair at 3.30pm. Jade 🩷 (brown) arrived first and weighed in at 2.05kg, followed shortly after by Jasper 🩵 (tricolour) and weighing 2.2kg.

These kids are the first at Gumnut Valley Alpacas by Blood Gum Creek ‘Brick’ and we were excited to retain Jasper as a buck.

Sadly all was not well with poor Jasper and vet consultation confirmed that he had a septic abdomen and that nothing could be done to save him. RIP Jasper 🪦 🌈

Jade will be retained and loved twice as much.
