Creating flavours is part intuition, part obsession. When I’m awake at 3am, I’m usually dreaming up combinations. Then comes the tasting and tweaking - more crunch, less sweetness, a little salt - until it tastes as good as it did in my head.
I also listen very carefully to our community. What you love, what you miss and what you’d like to eat next. So many ideas start with something one or more of you has said!!
I was listening to you, so I created Peppermint Cookie Crunch which brings together two of our favourites: our beloved Peppermint and Midnight Cookies. Cool mint, rich chocolate and that satisfying cookie crunch. The Mulberry leaf can help to balance blood sugar and tastes like a mild matcha, if you haven’t tried it and want a caffeine free matcha, give it ago and let me know what you think.
The ingredients matter deeply to me, but so does that first bite. I want it to be delicious enough that you close your eyes for a second.
Best enjoyed with a cup of tea and a little time to yourself. 🤍
