Supply & Installation

A successful irrigation system depends largely upon the quality of materials used and the ability of the contractor to design and install the materials correctly.

Site & soil conditions, garden micro-climates, plus water source and pressure are all contributing factors that need to be taken into consideration. Tropical Irrigation Services’ knowledge of the local area, combined with our years of experience, and our interest in providing you with a quality product, ensures that you will be enjoying the benefits of your irrigation system for many years to come.

We cater for all domestic and commercial irrigation requirements, from patio pots on tap timers to acreages with multiple valves & multi-station controllers. We use quality parts and equipment and all supplied products come with a peace of mind manufacturer’s warranty. Tropical Irrigation Services’ workmanship comes with a conditional 12 month warranty on installation work.

Servicing & Maintenance

Like any working system, an irrigation system requires regular maintenance.

This assists in ensuring longevity of the system, and can prevent major costs occurring. We provide a booking facility for servicing which sends out regular reminders when servicing is due on your system.

Bores & Pumps

Cairns City and most of the Northern Beaches have a shallow water table, allowing bore and pump systems to be installed at a reasonable price. With the city water supply being metered, these systems become very cost effective in the long term, as well as saving valuable drinking water.

Tropical Irrigation Services are equipped to install shallow bores. Deeper bores require special rigs and we work with local drilling companies to facilitate installation of these bores. We are then able to supply, install, and service the submersible pumps required in these deeper bores.

Tropical Irrigation Services will supply, install, and service all the reliable brand names of submersible, centrifugal, and sump pumps.

Tanks & Pressure Systems

Many Cairns residents on hillsides must make use of multiple pump & tank systems to improve the supply of Council’s water to their residences. Tropical Irrigation Services can design, supply, & install these systems, and provide servicing/maintenance.

For rural clients, we can design and create a pumping system utilising creek/river supply and associated storage tanks, to provide water for rural dwellings.

Some of our tank and pressure system works include steel bolted tanks on stands @ DPI Research Station at Kairi, Cairns City Council Buchans Point pumping system, Cairns hillside residents, and hose drying towers for the local Fire Brigade.
