Today begins the first part of my community engagement journey — getting out on the ground, connecting with community, listening to local voices and hearing directly from First Nations women about their experiences, aspirations and needs in business.

Meaningful work starts with listening. It starts with relationships. And most importantly, it starts with community.

Over the coming days, I’ll be sharing a little of this journey across Napranum and Weipa as the conversations unfold.
