The 2026-27 Pacific Engagement Visa ballot is now open until 11.59pm 29 July 2026.

1350 visas are being allocated to Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 this program year.

The Australian Government is continuing to provide the free PEV Support Service in Papua New Guinea this year.

The Support Service is running free information sessions online and in person to help you:

✅ understand the ballot and visa application process
✅connect with employment opportunities in Australia to help meet the visa's employment requirement
✅prepare for living and working in Australia

DO NOT PAY FOR PEV ASSISTANCE!! I WILL PROVIDE FREE HELP.

The PEV will open for 2026 from 1 July - 31 July.

You need a passport to enter - so if you do not have one, you will need to get moving.

I will be posting my how-to guide so that you can enter yourself. You do NOT need a migration agent or any other agent to enter, you just need your valid passport and a visa debit card (yours, your friends, etc) and about K100.

PLEASE READ THIS NEXT PART CAREFULLY.

YOU ONLY NEED K100 TO APPLY.

BUT YOU NEED MORE FUNDS IF YOU ARE SELECTED.

Last year, I had one successful applicant for every seven we entered, so the odds are very good.

But be prepared. If you are successful, you will have other costs including the visa fee (about $355 for the first applicant and about $80 per family member) and about K1,300 for the visa medical per person. If your family members do not have passports, you need to get them kwiktaim. That is about K300 each.

Once your visa is approved, you have to pay your OWN relocation costs to Australia.

I recommend everyone have at LEAST K3000 saved and more like K5000 per person. You will need this to get through the visa process and to migrate successfully.

YOU HAVE TO MOVE QUICKLY IF YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL IN THE BALLOT. You don't have much time to raise that K3000 or so to pay for your visa and your visa medical. I did have one person drop out because he didn't have enough money.

SO BE PREPARED.

IT ONLY COSTS K100 TO ENTER.

But to get the visa it will cost you at least another K3000. If you have no savings and no access to funds, please keep your K100 and don't enter. Only enter if you can afford all the other costs.
