Another birthday cake! This one is orange & poppyseed with cinnamon cream cheese frosting.
I went to town on the deco's; candied orange and lemon slices and cinnamon quills, almond praline and a fudge caramel surprise in between the layers.

One of the highlights for me these past few months has been cooking for a client who is blind. I have enjoyed creating meals from whatever she has purchased fresh that week, and using pantry staples to make delicious meals that she can just heat and eat for the rest of the week.
