Getting to the root of the problem… literally.. 🌱

This underground irrigation pipe was still allowing water through, but a tree root had slowly grown around it and crushed the line — restricting flow and affecting system pressure.

Not every pump failure means the pump is finished 🔧

This Sulzer flood mitigation pump came into our workshop after failing insulation resistance testing on site. After a full strip down and inspection, the pump itself was found to be in excellent condition — with the issue traced back to a failed in-line cable joint and moisture ingress in the terminal block housing.

The fix? Replace the cable, complete a service overhaul, and this unit will be ready to jump back into action protecting against flood events 👌

Sometimes it’s not the pump that’s the problem… it’s what’s connected to it.
