Still at the Cairns Show Auto Spectacular.

Some amazing looking and sounding cars getting around.

If you need something special for an event, reach out to the Ice Cream Taxi.

This van is by far not the fanciest set of wheels here, but it’s well worth stoping by, as it does have great ice cream, and great lines.

And yes, still hanging with LUME Dirty Sodas

Cairns Show Auto Spectacular

Lots on show. The classic era ice cream van onsite has a bit of history too.

Here’s the pencil to paper sketch, that became the paint and panel you see each time.

Yes, old school charm, quality and customer service and a quality old school paint job.

0-100: absolutely possible, TBC.

If you want to know more drop by and I’ll tell you more about the build.

Cairns Show Auto Spectacular this weekend.

Big wash with a polish, and wheels back in their prime.

Great body on the outside, great ice cream made on the inside.

Some great cars, drop a thumbs up if you might make it.

Hey you mob, Cairns Ice Cream Taxi mob. Today and tomorrow we are on.

You may not know this but my other non ice cream specialty is sport development.

I’ve taught it locally in Cairns, and communities including up in the Torres Strait, Kowanyama, Bamaga and down to Cherbourg.

Before the Ice Cream Taxi, I was also President of Cairns Volleyball Association taking me to Aurakun, and a big thing for me was further supporting the development of women’s sport.

So why not head to the Women’s All-Stars Carnival @ the Kangaroo's League Club, Irene St Mooroobool and see the best that local Indigenous Women’s sport has to offer, and stop by the Ice Cream Taxi whilst in the neighbourhood.

Hey Cairns/ music lovers,

You won’t find us on the streets tonight…. We’ve had to get a bigger ‘stadium’. You will find us at one of the biggest music events in Cairns for 2026.

Great music with SIX60, alongside other food options, we’re bringing great customer service accompanied with the usual great ice cream/ dessert options with the Ice Cream Taxi.

And yes, the much loved $5 cone still exists. ✌️🍦

Great football being played backed by a great local radio station doing good all over the local communities keeping mob, and a few migaloos knowing what’s going on in community.

Well worth a listen, and well worth dropping into Jones Park to checkout some of this talent with teams from Canberra up and through Queensland including the Torres Strait.

Like our fresh creamy ice cream on a cone, we wish you an onwards and upwards weekend.
