Huth’s Farmgate We live in Burua (Calliope) Central Queensland on 20 acres. We grow, produce, harvest and make everything we place in our farmstall.

No chemicals or pesticides are used. Only natural compost and fertiliser ( worm castings) are used.

Eggs continue to be very popular.
If you have visited the stall recently you will have noticed the eggs are now kept in an esky.
Rest assured the eggs are still collected daily and go straight to the stall ( not stored, washed or refrigerated).
I stock the stall every morning at opening with 2-3 dozen eggs.

Pollinators and beneficial insects.
I grow many plants amongst the vegetables, these are selected to draw in the beneficial insects. A few favourites are marigolds, dill, coriander and rocket. I have been harvesting their leaves for months to feed the chooks, now they have gone to seed attracting all kinds of beneficial bugs. This eliminates the need for any type of pesticides in our garden.

Relaxing Sunday morning vibes
Our place is soooo dry, luckily for our girls I grow an abundance of spinach, kale, rocket, parsley, dill and milk thistle to supplement their diet and keep them happy
