Relaxing Sunday morning vibes
Our place is soooo dry, luckily for our girls I grow an abundance of spinach, kale, rocket, parsley, dill and milk thistle to supplement their diet and keep them happy

Eggs ….. eggs ……. And more eggs

Our eggs are very popular but have you ever wondered who is responsible for the beautiful coloured eggs ?

Let me introduce ‘Jen’ she is one of my olive - eggers. She is a mixed breed created to lay beautiful olive coloured eggs.

Dr Seuss was right, you can have green eggs 😂

Honey 🍯
The honey we stock in our stall is 100% collected by our 4 bee hives.

The honey has not been heat treated in the collection process.

Depending on what is locally in flower, the honey from the cells within a hive, will be a different flavour and colour.

One bee will produce a teaspoon of honey in her lifetime 🐝🐝

**EDIT** he’s had a name change and identifies as Rodney, Rodney the rooster.

Introducing Red Rooster the newest edition to our flock.
Unlike the Red Rooster food chain, he won’t be on the menu 😊
He was raised by a family as a girl but revealed his true identity by crowing, they could no longer keep him.

Disappointed Post
If you visited our stall today (Saturday 8th August) ‘helped’ yourself to our produce BUT forgot to pay, just return with the food or the money.
Your image is pretty clear on our trail cam.
If you can’t afford to buy it, don’t just take it and think we wouldn’t notice.
I thought our community was better than that.
Thankyou to everyone that continues to support our stall ( I love all the messages )

I have a suggestion/message box at our stall, and I love receiving all the messages.
One I wanted to address is regarding the plastic netting I use for the produce.
‘ is it possible to get rid of the plastic netting or reuse ?’
•I totally understand the request as we are moving away from plastic however, I sourced this netting from an Australia company in Victoria, it is high grade food safe. Not a cheap Temu plastic.
•If you don’t like the netting, feel free to bring your own bag and untie the produce and leave the netting in the stall. ( I will reuse it).
•I have placed some recycled bags from woolies at the back of the stall as well.
If anyone has another solution to using netting I’d love to hear it.

Avocados 🥑
We have been stocking our stall for the last 3 months with bags of Avocados.
We have 12 Avocado trees and grow Hass, Reed and Sharwil varieties.
We don’t use any chemicals or sprays on the trees or fruit, if you find little hard lumps just under the skin, this is from insects and unfortunately is the price for organic food.
Harvesting is always a big job, especially when all the fruit from the lower branches has been picked.
Hope you are enjoying the Avocados 🥑
