A few moments from Sunset Series VI — and, for now, the last of the Sunset Series as we’ve known it.

It felt right to have one last dance with Tanya and The Long Paddock team. The food, as always, carried the evening.

The weather didn’t quite play along, but in its own way it gave us something different — a chance to bring everyone inside the winery. Not a bad reminder of what that space can do… perhaps a few ideas planted for winter. We’ll see.

Thanks to everyone who joined us, inside and out. These evenings have always been about more than just sunsets.

Friday night is shaping up perfectly for Sunset Series VI.

The forecast is looking spot on — clear skies, warm evening light and exactly the kind of weather these nights were made for.

If you’ve been sitting on the fence, this is your sign.

Tanya from The Long Paddock is on food (so you already know it’s going to be good), we’ll be pouring across the Lightfoot range, and the deck will be doing what it does best as the sun drops across the river flats.

Good wine. Good food. A very good Friday evening.

Long weekend plans?

The cellar door is open Friday to Sunday, 11–5, with the deck and lawn ready for a slow afternoon over a glass (or two). The forecast has landed right in the sweet spot — not too hot, not too cold — the kind of weather made for settling in with a tasting and something to share from the kitchen.

Pull up a seat on the deck overlooking the Mitchell River Valley, or stretch out on the lawn and take it all in. Our tastings are a curated experience where you build your own flight from across the range, alongside tasting boards showcasing some of our favourite local produce.

Bookings are recommended, especially over the long weekend.

We’ve made the call to reschedule. With vintage underway and an already busy long weekend ahead, we want to make sure the evening is exactly what it should be — not rushed, not stretched.

One of those Sundays that reminds you why summer exists ☀️🍔🍷

A pretty perfect way to wrap up our January extended trading at the cellar door. Blue skies, a full deck and lawn, and a brilliant crowd soaking it all up made Vive le Vin et Burger exactly what it was meant to be.

Huge thanks to the teams from Lightfoot Wines and The Long Paddock for making it all feel effortless — great food, great wine and calm energy all day long. And the weather… honestly, we couldn’t have asked for better.

The best kind of busy, the best way to close out January, and a very good reminder of why we love doing what we do.
