Can you remember when you would buy a bottle of wine and it was full of flavour and vitality?
Unfortunately in the race to increase yields from vineyards producers have gone down the track of saturating their vines with herbicides, pesticides and synthetic fertilisers in order to get more grapes.
This has led to commercially driven wines lacking character and flavour that reflect the dead soils and are detrimental to the environment.
We have chosen to grow vines organically with lower yields that actually help the ecosystem.
The result are intensely flavoured wines with big aromas just as nature intended.

Our wine club members recently joined us for vintage. A morning picking the grapes followed by a long table lunch in the vines.

We look forward to our next members appreciation day in Spring where we will be showcasing the new releases matched with an alfresco lunch in the vines.

If you would like to become part of our exclusive wine club family we only release a few memberships as it is capped to a small number of lucky wine and nature lovers.

January - Concert in the Vines

February - Wine and Woofs. It's all about the dogs! Fundraiser for animal welfare and   wildlife rescue organisations. Over $130,000.00 raised so far!

March - Walk to Save the Tassie Devil. In support of Menzies Institute for Medical Research and Save the Tasmanian Devil Fund to find a vaccine for devil facial tumour disease

March - Open Day.  Property and vineyard tours and new releases

April - Vintage Pick. Join us to pick the grapes and then enjoy a long table vineyard lunch

April - Grapefest. A festival showing how grapes are grown, how wine is made and how to enjoy it! Workshops and masterclasses.

May - Mother's Day. Wine, food and live music.

July - Grapevine Giveaway. Collect your cuttings and tuition on how to propagate.

September - Father's Day. Wine, food and live music.

October - Wine and Woofs for Pets in the Park

October - Community Planting Day. Restoration project to rewild Wobbly Boot.

November - Wine Showcase lunch and members weekend

December - Doggy Xmas Party for Small Paws Animal Rescue.

Exciting events coming up at Wobbly Boot over winter and spring.

Our annual Grapevine Giveaway is being planned once pruning is complete. This year as well as showing you how to grow your own vines we will be holding a pruning workshop and Pinot Noir Masterclass.

In spring we will hold our first tree planting day where you can learn about our ten year rewilding project and be involved in planting an endangered forest.

Our followers are looking for something special that is not commercially made with lots of additives. Therefore you will not find Wobbly Boot in bottle shops or retail outlets.

We run a small wine club and offer our wines direct via our website.

Keep an eye out for our occasional event days where you can meet us and sample something extraordinary.
