Each year, farmers from across the region come together to put their general knowledge to the test at our annual Triva Night. Gather your team and join us for a great night out! Coming on your own? No worries, we will place you in a team.

Delicious food will once again be provided for all to enjoy, and the Allansford Football Club will have drinks available at bar prices.

A big thank you to Proud to be a Dairy Farmer for their continued support of this event over the past five years. Their generosity helps to keep tickets at just $15 each.

This year, we're proud to support local charity Surviving the Dark Times, with amazing raffles to be won and auction item for a one-night luxury accommodation stay in Warrnambool.

Q fever is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria Coxiella burnetii. It can spread from infected animals to humans through direct and indirect contact, such as dust or contaminated animal products, animal urine or faeces or milk.

Q fever symptoms can vary – with some people experiencing severe flu-like symptoms and long-lasting, debilitating impacts of chronic Q fever.

Victorian dairy farmers, employees and family members can access subsidised Q fever testing and vaccinations until May 2027 as part of a project led by GippsDairy and funded by WorkSafe Victoria and Dairy Australia.

Participating medical centres across South-west Victoria will run clinics requiring two appointments, scheduled one week apart, for Q fever testing and vaccination.

Around 50 members of the Young Dairy Network enjoyed a great night at Coorieridge Farms last Friday for a Farmers BBQ.

The Bond family welcomed everyone and shared the story of their operation, along with their vision for the future, including plans for a new dairy. They spoke about navigating hills, wet winters and busy schedules, and how careful planning and ongoing investment help keep the business moving forward.

The night captured what the Young Dairy Network does best, bringing young farmers together to catch up, connect, learn and share knowledge.

Thanks to Lex Bond for providing the soundtrack, and to Lely, Shoof and Farm Gate Stockfeeds for sponsoring the event.
