What's next -
▪️▪️What is the thing, right now, that you are most afraid of? What are you unconsciously asking your brain to focus on and keep you from?▪️▪️
I am excited to be working on my next journey as a Craft Artist here in Canberra; and the question above is what I am contemplating this morning. Why?
We need to acknowledge, feel, and face our circumstances and work out what our brain is going to be 'helping to protect' us from. Our natural instinct is to survive. If we fear something that sets our brain into "survive" and prepares us and does what it can to guide us away from whatever it is we are fearing.
Our anxiety towards something new comes across as fear - so our brains kick into 'survive' and give us all the ways to avoid it to 'keep us safe'
A lot of the time we are anxious/ uncertain/ uncomfortable and to move forward stretches our comfort zone and starts to engage the 'survive protocol' we need to learn when and what we need to push through. On the other side of Survive is Thrive and that is where I am wanting to be.
Part of my R&R (Rest and Revaluate) at the moment is going back to review and rest my BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) what matters to me and what I want my legacy to be so that I can step you clearly, confidently and empowered to connect, inspire and care for myself, my family and YOU my community. How am I doing that? I am revisiting a goal setting training (growth goal) session I completed in November.
I am excited for the renewal of my focus, the clarity and inspiration for my path forward and the endless opportunities two welcome YOU to continue to journey along side me through 2025.
