Quatré Saisons is our home, a mixed farming property set on the far southern tip of the Mundoonen Ranges nestled between Yass and Gundaroo Village under one hour from the nation’s capital, Canberra. Ecologically unique in the Yass Valley, this piece of land has retained its natural biodiversity and old growth vegetation. Our 118 hectares is varied landscape with grassy open native pastures, heath

lands rich with wildflowers, hidden mossy gorges, dense eucalypt forest, towering stands of stringy bark, steep gullies and stony shale ridges. The Yass River has its naissance in our steep ridge tops and dips in and out along the road. Together with Quatre Saisons extraordinary natural plant diversity, this river corridor provides shelter and nesting for many of the regions rarest mammals, birds and lizards. Quatre Saisons is not a commercial venture- we do things in simple natural ways for our own family’s well being. Super-productivity is not our goal. We sell only the extra production stud stock and produce destined to be non-breeding animals such as steers or wethers for other small holders to enjoy growing out. The meat, milk and cheeses we produce is primarily for our own family's enjoyment. All of our animals are reared on native pasture and have little, if any, veterinarian interference.
