The location of the Southern Cross Yacht Club on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin is unsurpassed and because of this unique positioning it attracts a wide range of members and invited guests. d balcony, eat fish and chips on the lawns or linger over a leisurely Sunday morning breakfast as you enjoy the stunning views of the lake. By day Snapper is the perfect destination for a morning caffeine hit, a snack or an early morning breakfast. For lunch or dinner head upstairs to the Yacht Club Restaurant, where you’ll enjoy a choice of dishes from the extensive a la carte menu or indulge with the two or three course group menu. The Yacht Club is also home to the wonderful M.V. Please note that the Yacht Club has several exciting private events coming up in September, so there will be some temporary changes to our usual opening hours.

Thursday 10 September: Whole restaurant closed all day.

Sunday 13 September: Balcony and lounge closed from 11am–6pm.

Saturday 19 September: Whole venue closed all day.

Friday 25 September: Whole venue closed from 2pm.

Here's what Chef Trung has in store for the Corowa Wh**ky Dinner on Friday 4 September.

Beef carpaccio with parmesan, horseradish and baby basil, paired with The Corowa Characters. A silky cauliflower soup with truffle and herb oil, paired with Single Barrel 534 Organic. Slow-roasted spring lamb rump with pea purée and labneh, paired with the iconic Mad Dog Morgan. And to finish, a chocolate tart with white chocolate crémeux and seasonal fruits, paired with Bosque Verde.
