Fertilised some of the paddocks today following a few days of nice rain - 50ml. Also planted some j*p millett with turnip & chicory to build a feed supply should it come in dry again. A nice shower of rain to wash it all in.

Well the clean up of the pastures here since the big wet & record flood of 2022 continues. Cleaned up the tussock & swamp rushes from under the electric fences. The rye grass didnt get the best growing season with how dry it has been all year. The grass is green & there’s feed in front of the cows. Bring on the spring storms to push the kikuyu & paspalum grasses along. With Malcolm Sky
