for all food applications. Food Safe. All flowers are guaranteed 100 percent edible. Pretty Produce is now based in rural Queensland so postal distribution with Aus Post is taking a few days longer than before. What a bloody long time this is taking… 🤣🤣🤣… my seeds I planted in June are now beginning to flower. Taking the higher road and deciding to grow the bulk of my plants from seed has been a lesson in patience. My first round of superstars are from Veggie + Flower Garden Seeds being the Flamenco Mix plus a bunch of others that I’ll introduce in turn. Because Stanthorpe has a cool/temperate climate… there is a giant lag from the end of frosty 🥶 weather… however… next year I will have sooo much already flowering. I’ll be starting viola/pansy/daisy and others off in February from seed.

Pastel and Ivory dreams live in the same world as “sugar n spice and everything nice” .. goes sumthink like this … What are little girls made of?What are little girls made of? 🌸✨🌸✨
Sugar and spice
And everything nice
That’s what little girls are made……
Ok… and what are little boys made of?…. Try not to google. No wonder there is a red pill thing going around the inter web… I blame misogynistic societal structures for all of our woes.. both if you happen to be bloke or a lady. Imagine a world where a fella could be sugar and spice if he so wanted. A gal could be a puppy dog tail…. So many things to ponder when I create wonderful specific colour palettes for and requests… Etsy Australia and my website link in bio …

SPRINTER season (between winter and spring the laggy bit in the middle) … Such a desperate time of the year in Queensland… double it down with El Nino.. and higher than normal temps and no rainfall in now 5 months ( such high heat usually comes in a month from now) … AND… we just won Tourism Town of the Year in Australia.. but we are in 150 litres of water restriction per person … the mind boggles how incredible this ride is.. so we watch and wait for a change in the wind direction for all those close to town .. and my beautiful family with their lavender farm..they have watched this cycle repeat over 30 years. Australia… not for the faint hearted! Budburst Pretty Produce

It’s been a while since I’ve had a bunch of fun being a stall holder… and I am sooo darn excited to be at the Stanthorpe Garden Fest - October 9th and 10th. I’ll have my launch of Arty Plants concept, seeds, plants, pressed flower goodness and tonnes of advice for anyone wanting to grow plants for creative purposes.

Stanthorpe just won Australia’s Top Tourism Town!! Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!! So much buzzing about in this town. Remarkable as we are now in 150 litres of water per person per day. Time for better water capture strategies to happen me thinks.. Mariella 🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
