We had to mark this exciting moment because this afternoon Zahladee found our very first egg for us and Evenindee. I honestly can’t remember the last time we had to buy eggs. We’ve been so lucky to have beautiful friends gifting us eggs on a regular basis and picking some up for us through produce and Homemaker swaps. But hopefully soon will be able to return the favour with our own. 🤪👍🏻💜🥚

There’s nothing that makes Nindee happier than hearing the words “beach walk”
A little special one-on-one time with Darren.
These beach walks have become one of her favourite things.
It’s funny how our furry friends remind us to slow down and appreciate the little moments… a walk, a beautiful view and time spent together.
I think Nindee would say there’s nowhere else she’d rather be than by the ocean with her favourite human.

Another beautiful Homemaker Swap I nearly forgot to take any shots.. 🤪
What a lovely morning we had at today’s Homemaker Swap.
It was so wonderful to see some new faces joining us and to welcome more like-minded women into this little community we are creating.
I always walk away from these swaps feeling like my cup has been completely filled. There is just something so special about sitting together, sharing stories, swapping handmade goodies, and connecting with beautiful people.
Although I think I also leave with a very sore face from smiling and laughing so much! 😂
Thank you to everyone who came along, shared their creations, brought their kindness and helped make these mornings what they are.

I can’t wait to see what everyone brings next time. 👍🏻💜😘

A Little Update from Evenindee Homestead

As our little homestead continues to grow, we’ve made the decision to simplify our Farmstand opening hours.
From now on, our Evenindee Farmstand will be open:
🕗 Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
🕗 Saturday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
🕗 Sunday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

This change allows us to spend more time behind the scenes creating, making, packing and adding even more handmade and homestead-inspired products to our website.

For our local community, you’ll be able to order online and select local pick-up, and for everyone else, we’re so excited to now offer Australia-wide shipping so you can enjoy a little piece of Evenindee no matter where you live. (www.evenindee.com.au )

We also wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already placed an order through our online store. Every purchase, kind message, share and word of encouragement truly means the world to our family. Supporting a small handmade business helps us continue doing what we love, and we’re incredibly grateful.

This morning’s Homemaker Swap was just beautiful! It was so lovely to see a fair few new faces join us and watch our little community continue to grow.
I took along some homesewn reusable makeup wipes, a cleaning cloth, and some handmade aroma stones. I came home with some absolutely wonderful goodies including fresh cows’ milk and plenty of eggs!
I truly love everything about the little community we’ve created. There’s something so special about sharing the things we make, grow and have to offer, meeting new people, and coming home with treasures that have been lovingly made or produced by someone in our community.
So grateful to everyone who comes along and helps make these swaps what they are. Here’s to many more!

It’s been a big week in our house.

On Tuesday, our beautiful girl Zahladee turned 12 (how did that happen so quickly?!), and today she celebrated her final school Book Week.

Book Week has always been one of my favourite times of the year. So many memories have been made around the dining table with cardboard, paint, hot glue, fabric and a little bit of creative chaos. From creating costumes for her big brother years ago, to now watching him help paint the cover of her costume as an 18-year-old, it really does feel like we’ve come full circle.
This year she chose to go as Pearl from The Grandest Bookshop in the World, which was good as she was catching the bus to school. BOOKWEEK COSTUMES (Daneve) 😜

She also had the loveliest 12th birthday on Tuesday, celebrating with our family before finishing the day surrounded by a wonderful bunch of friends down at 1770. It was such a special way to celebrate this milestone.

It’s certainly been a week full of memories we’ll treasure for years to come.👍🏻💜😘
