๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด - Agents yarded 4,902 head, including 520 suckers, 2,100 lambs, 410 hoggets and 1,470 sheep, with 73 vendors selling to 23 different buyer destinations.
Supply lifted, with quality good across the new season lambs and extra-heavy weights, while the older grades were a little more varied. There were mainly trade and heavy weights penned, along with some lambs suitable for restockers.
All buyers were operating except for one, with strong competition on the new seasons and the market selling to a dearer trend.
๐ ๐ก๐ฒ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฏ๐ - Trade-weight new season lambs were a standout, selling $10 to $12 dearer and averaging 1,245c/kg cwt, with prices ranging from $292 to $295/head.
Heavy-weight new season lambs sold from $314 to $330/head, or 1,180c to 1,220c/kg cwt, continuing to attract strong competition.
๐ ๐ข๐น๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฏ๐ - Trade-weight old lambs were firm, averaging around 1,145c/kg cwt and selling from $265 to $290/head.
Heavy-weight old lambs were $2 to $3/head dearer, averaging around 1,080c to 1,140c/kg cwt. Heavy weights sold from $288 to $296/head, while extra-heavy lambs ranged from $290 to $360/head.
๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ผ๐ป - Mutton numbers increased, with a good quality yarding made up predominantly of heavy ewes.
Heavy first-cross ewes were $2 dearer, selling from $210 to $344/head and averaging 820c to 910c/kg cwt.
๐ ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ - The majority of the yarding headed to processors, with 78% selling to processors and 22% to restockers.
By state, the majority headed to Victoria, with 52% travelling south and 48% remaining in NSW.

Trade-weight new season lambs recorded the biggest lift, while heavy new seasons and extra-heavy lambs continued to attract strong competition. Older lambs were generally firm to slightly dearer, and a quality yarding of heavy ewes also found good support.
