Over the last couple months our family has been raising money to help find a cure for Brain cancer. We lost our darling mother and dads soul mate to the cruel disease less than three months ago. We have managed to raise almost $20,000 which has blown us all away by the level of support.

In this final month of fundraising, we will now be donating the profits from all w**e sales on our website to the cause. Our JMS Pinot Noir is named after and made in honour of mum, if you would like to support such an underfunded cause while also getting your hands on some w**e, head over to our website and our family would be incredibly grateful as well as so many others currently battling the disease.

Before vs after 🌱 It’s shoot thinning time! Besides the satisfying nature of it, thinning has multiple benefits:
•Improving aeration to reduce disease risk
•Reducing yields allowing even ripening later in the season
•Optimising the vines energy into the shoots you want
•Getting a head start on next years pruning
(Just to name a few)

For International Pinot day the day was spent pruning pinot! 🍇This is an Abel clone vine in our higher density block looking the goods just before wrapping it down onto the wire 👌🏼

2021 Scanlon Pinot Noir is now available! 🎉 The first pinot we have made with not only our older block 777 clone but also blended with the fruit from our new block on the property. At higher vine density, east facing slope and Burgundian clones Abel, 667 and 115, we have been working on this block for the past few years and we are excited to showcase the result to you. Harvested by friends and family, w**e made and matured on-site. Head over to our website to grab a bottle or two to drink by the fire these cold wintery days 🙌🏼
