Might be a bit late for a lot of our valued clients but just a little information on what’s driving our lambing percentages.

Our 3 year rolling average for lambs marked is 176%. Achieving 184% last year for our January joined ewes.

86% of ewes joined scanned in lamb for the 20 day joining.

As I say in the video I’m no guru but lamb % is one of the biggest profit drivers in our business so always after information how to improve and welcome any feedback.

This years sale was a tougher day than we've come accustomed to but we're pleased that our commercial clients continue to support our program with multiple buyers taking advantage of the buy 10 or more rams and receive 10% off. We are also grateful to have sold stud rams to multiple stud buyers including Lot 10 to Southdale White Suffolk Stud, Brookton, WA, for a top of $11,500.

We're incredibly grateful to everyone that participated in this years sale and hope to see you all next year! Breeding rams that work in a range of climatic conditions as well as management systems is something we pride ourselves on and we hope that this years purchases will do just that.

As always a big thank you to Elders for the ongoing support during the year as well as Sale Day.

Lot 13 - 240779 is breed from our ewe lamb AI Program. A true moderate framed, well flashed deep sided ram with exceptionally well balanced data.

Top 1% in TCP, WWT, LEQ and PWT.

Lot 11 - 240842 is an August drop ram that is very true to breed type. A very balanced free mover showing plenty of fleshing including lovely butterfly muscling along the spine. He has one of the tightest soft downs skins we've ever breed.

He is Top 1% in PWT. Top 10% in TCP and PEMD

Booloola reserves the right to have semen collected for in flock use.

Lot 10 - 240818 has been used heavily as a lamb with more than 150 progeny on the groud. An August drop lamb that scanned 58mm EMD at the Australian Sheep & Wool Show, the highest scan in the White Suffolk breed. His data truely matches his raw data. He is a moderate framed ram with depth and thickness. Semen has been collected for flock use.

He is Top 1% in TCP, PWT, PEMD and LMY.
