🌿 Expression of Interest – Grass-Fed Australian Lowline Beef 🌿

In response to ongoing enquiries, we’re reviewing the possibility of running a few small batches of beef annually. We are now taking expressions of interest for our next run of grass-fed Australian Lowline beef, raised naturally in the Otway Ranges.

Our cattle are:
• 100% pasture raised
• Hormone free
• Finished on grass

We would like to wish everyone a safe and festive Christmas and new year. The farm is progressing well, with plenty of green pasture available for all.
There are some new additions. Currently 17 little piglets and 8 horses. The horses are visiting for a while.

Hi all,

We are sad to share that we have ceased retail sales of meat (beef and pork) due to personal reasons and financial and logistical difficulties.

With the last remaining abattoir in our region servicing small producers closing, and our processing costs increasing by 50% over night, our business model is no longer viable or sustainable.

We thank everyone who has encouraged and supported us to achieve what we have in a short space of time.

We have learnt a lot, lost a bit, but will continue to practice sustainable and ethical food production the best we can, particularly to lead the way for our son in the challenging environment of climate change.

We continue to support the Australian Lowline cattle and Berkshire Pig breeds with their succulent tasting meat. The docile temperament and easy handling of Australian Lowline cattle and the intelligent and inquisitive nature of our pigs will continue to be a joy to have on our farm.

We hope you all continue to support small, local businesses and if perhaps, our circumstances change we may pick up where we leave today and see you all again in the near future.
