Lorikeets don’t eat seeds.

Unlike many other parrots, lorikeets are specially adapted to feed on nectar, pollen, flowers and soft fruits. Their brush-tipped tongues help them collect nectar from blossoms 🌺

That’s why Louie gets a very different menu to some of our other feathered friends! 💚
