🚨 THEFT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED 🚨

Over the past couple of days, we have experienced a significant increase in theft at IGA Carnarvon, and enough is enough.

We are a small local business, and every item stolen has an impact on our store, our hardworking staff and our ability to continue serving our community. We work hard to keep our shelves stocked and provide for Carnarvon, and it is incredibly disappointing to see this happening.

Our team has stopped some thefts, while others have unfortunately managed to leave without paying. However, just because you make it out of the store doesn’t mean you’ve gotten away with it. We have CCTV footage, incidents are being documented, and relevant footage will be provided to police.

IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU STEAL OR HOW MUCH IT’S WORTH — THEFT IS THEFT.

We will not turn a blind eye to these incidents, and we will continue to take appropriate action to protect our business, our staff and our community.

We ask everyone to respect our store and the people who work hard every day to keep it running. We are a local business, and this behaviour has real consequences.

To our loyal and honest customers, thank you for continuing to support your local IGA. ❤️ Your support means more than you know.
