A little about myself, my name is Arpita Mane, and I am the owner of Ghar Ka Swad – A Homely Meal. I officially started this business in May 2020 and prior to that I was working as a Governance, Risk and Compliance Lead. As part of my working career, I have always been part of the quality and compliance team and later worked as an auditor. I am a mother of three beautiful kids, and they were the main reason for me to start this business venture. As a working mother, I always felt the need to provide my kids with good quality food which sometimes wasn’t easily available. Starting my venture, Ghar Ka Swad – A Homely Meal in 2020 was driven by a desire to provide freshly cooked meals to individuals facing similar struggles. My passion and love for cooking, coupled with the understanding of the significance of freshly prepared food, fuelled this venture. As a chef and a mother of 3 kids, I strongly believe in ensuring that the food I serve is of the highest quality and safety standards. ‘If I wouldn't feed it to my own family, I wouldn't serve it to anyone else’.
