After more than five years, we are again moving our warehouse from the northern part of the city to the the southern suburbs. We will continue to provide the best in servicing your needs, processing and shipping your orders as expeditiously as always. We continue to hold stocks of your favourites and we’re adding new offerings as well,

Now that summer is around the corner, we will mention that we still have some stock of white maize seeds you may want to grow even in small patches in your garden so you may also enjoy fresh cobs of white maize as many have been doing. We’re also soon going to be offering Chomolia seeds for your garden. Just keep a lookout for them.
We’re hoping to get new stock of Mopani worms soon although Matemba/ Kapenta stocks are holding well.
Wishing you all more warmth as our summer season approaches. We’re well stocked for all the seasoning you may want for your barbecues and summer picnics.

Bon Amie to you all and may your tables be full of delectable fare and scrumptious foods. The bounty of Africa never fades.
Cheers

We’re getting to the end of the World Cup and oh my goodness, what a match it was between England and France. It was a thriller and lots and lots of goals. What a show. And tomorrow is the best of the best match. One of the best things is how soccer brings everyone around the world together and share the joy of play. It’s such a treat and an opportunity to forget a little about some of the ugly things that are causing such unnecessary suffering in parts of the world. I hope more people get inspiration to spread love and joy is as much as is possible around our communities however they are composed.
Here at Southern Africa Foods we will keep on spreading the joy of fabulous Foods out of Africa as usual. Wishing you all happy days and bountiful tables for the last part of winter and the rest of the year.

Yes winter has definitely settled in and the weather has been doing what it does best. Thankfully there have also been quite a lot of distractions and entertainment to occupy the senses. The World Game has been quite inspiring as we were able to enjoy the participation of many more African teams than in past World cups. It is inspiring to see the unity that sport engenders and the impressive commitment to excellence that sport can show. While I was gunning for the Socceroos to higher achievements , I think most of us were also able to choose and support some African, American and/or European teams and enjoy the festivities. And yes it’s still going on so the fun is not stopping.
The good thing is that we will continue to make available to you, the good and wholesome foods out of Africa. Wishing you all bountiful tables and good cheers throughout this winter down under.

Officially winter has settled in and the temperatures snd weather are conforming it abundantly. I know some love the winter weather while some of us are not so keen on it. I find it quite interesting that there is actually a date that is allocated to the official start of winter. I only found that out recently. I grew up defining winter as to whenever there were more cold than warm days consistently. I grew up in a tropical region and so defined weather demarcations were not a thing for me. I wonder how you find it?
In any case, soups and broth and lovely teas and porridge are good “go to’s” in this coming weather.
Wishing you bountiful tables and hearty meals till the summertime bounty comes again. Also hope that the warring in the Middle East dies away and our burdens are lessened and peace rules supreme.
Bon appetite
