Our farm is located in Carrajung Lower, Central Gippsland where is 2.5 hours drive from Melbourne. As the name reveals we live on a small ridge with at least 3 pairs of Kookaburras living around our house. We are fortunate to share our amazing property with many species of native birds, however we don't want to share all our fruit with them, so up goes the bird netting in sections of the orchard.

Campsites ready for a full house this Melbourne Cup weekend 😊

I just wanted to share some recent reviews of our campsites which warms my heart and makes all my hard work worth it!

Jackie P: We had a fantastic time at Kookaburra Ridge farm. We stayed on site one which is very private and it had a lovely view of the dam. We loved watching the sheep pass by and found them fascinating. We called it 'sheep tv'. Daniel was a great host and communication was very prompt and friendly. We've already booked to come back again.

Aimee H: The kids and I had an amazing time! Daniel was a fantastic host, quick to respond to any questions. We loved the view, the space for the kids to run, play and climb trees. The toilet was fantastic, no smell. The dogs absolutely loved the freedom and really enjoyed not having to be tethered while we camped. We were the only ones there though, so not sure how it would got if there were other dogs around or other campers. Definitely keen to return in the future!

Sylvia M: Dan is a great host. We stayed at Site One and it was private and a really cool set up over 3 levels on the side of a hill. We didn't, but if you have mobility concerns this is not the site for you. We set up two 3x3 marquees, 3 tents, 3 cars and had the fire going all weekend. It wasn't a tight fit but tents were close to mess areas because of the layout which was handy, but if you like to be spread apart or like quiet place a bit further away from your camp mates, recommend one of the other sites on the farm. Composting loo was handy. Easy to get there and get around, Briggs Road might be a bit tough and slow going but doable in a smaller car, it's def 4WD friendly. Lovely spot, lots of wildlife and farm life, highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay!

Just installing a new dripper system in the orchard and noticed the pears, apples and plums are looking promising. 😊
