It's a small flock that I manage throughout the year, hand feeding them regularly. Selected over 30 generations between he and I to be healthy, maternal, low maintenance, full shedders and extraordinarily fertile. All sheep are fully registered wtih transfer documents available. They produce offspring at their peak for around 7 years and I never have any health issues with them. Usually lamb 3 tim
es every 2 years and always twin or triplet. They are great mothers, very tame, easy to manage, good lawn mowers and of course delicious if you are that way inclined. Dorper self shed, so caring for them is literally a breeze. I've also started working with some dorper with black features, they are really well sought after by hobbyists and breeders. And this year I have got some wiltshire cross available too - still self shedding obviously but a few advantages of the wiltshire bloodline. A little less productive which is the downside, that's why I prefer the dorper. Send me a message if you are interested. It’s hard to answer phone calls cos I can’t be on the phone all day. Prices vary seasonally and between sheep of course but usually start around:
$220-$250 for wethers
$300-$450 for breeding ewes (pregnant)
$400-$1000’s for stud rams
I can organise delivery for orders big and small. Currently in stock are pure white dorper male and female lambs (including some unwethered rams), as well as a few with black features. I can sell ewes too as breeders or pregnant ready to lamb.
