💙 Father's Day at Pedare Christian College (Inc.) 💙

We're excited to once again partner with Pedare Christian College to help celebrate the dads, grandfathers, and father figures within their school community this Father's Day.

The Father's Day Breakfast Menu is now live on the QKR! App, featuring:

🥓 Breakfast Muffin with bacon, sausage, egg & cheese
🥣 Yoghurt Pots with fresh seasonal berries, granola & passionfruit pulp, with a coconut yoghurt and gluten-free option available
🥧 Dad's Snack Pack with party pies, sausage rolls & tomato sauce

📅 Breakfast: Friday, 4th September
⏰ Orders close: Friday, 28th August at 4:00pm

Earlier this term, our Catering and Production Kitchen teams had the pleasure of helping Pulteney Grammar School celebrate their Grandparents and Special Friends Day.

For this special event, we prepared and delivered 500 Family Boxes, creating a simple and memorable way for grandparents, students, and special guests to enjoy morning tea together.

Working closely with the school, our Catering Team created a bespoke catering solution that was practical, cost-effective, and enjoyable for families to share.

Each box was thoughtfully curated with freshly baked scones, jam and cream, a selection of sweet treats, and dietary alternatives to help ensure everyone could enjoy the celebration.

We love that catering can be tailored to suit the occasion, whether it's a staff morning tea, sports day, graduation, or a special community event like this one. Working alongside schools to create practical, delicious solutions that suit their events, budgets, and communities is what we love.

A huge thank you to our teams for the planning, preparation, packing, and delivery that went into making 500 Family Boxes happen!

We hope everyone at Pulteney enjoyed a wonderful morning celebrating the special people in their lives. 💛

A few weeks into Term 3, it's safe to say our refreshed Bain Marie menu has been a hit across Rory's Group Australia sites! 🙌

From returning favourites to exciting new additions, it's been fantastic to see students and staff embracing the new menu.

Refreshing our menu each term allows us to continue offering variety, great value, and plenty of choice for our school communities, while keeping things exciting throughout the year.

A big thank you to our incredible site teams for bringing these menus to life every day. Your presentation, enthusiasm, and commitment play a huge part in every successful menu launch.

Meet Michael 👋

We're excited to officially introduce Michael Byron, who joined Rory's Group Australia at the beginning of Term 2 as our Operations Supervisor.

Working alongside our General Manager, Shane Smith, Michael plays a key role in supporting our canteen and café network across South Australia. From site visits and quality assurance to compliance, operational support and team development, Michael is focused on helping our teams deliver the high standard of service our school communities know and trust.

Over the past term, Michael has been out and about visiting schools, meeting our incredible Operators, Team Leaders, Business Managers and school leadership teams.

Michael brings a wealth of operational leadership experience, and we're thrilled to have him as part of the Rory's family. His appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to investing in our people, strengthening support for our teams, and continuing to deliver exceptional service across every school community we partner with.

🎉 Congratulations to our SASBA 2026 Stand Prize Winner! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Felicity Ziegler from Waikerie High School, the lucky winner of the Rory's Group Australia stand prize at the 2026 SASBA Annual Conference!

Our raffle was drawn on Tuesday afternoon during the conference's final session, and we were delighted to share the exciting news with Felicity via SMS.

Felicity has won a $500 dining voucher to Botanic Restaurant, nestled within the beautiful Adelaide Botanic Garden – the perfect opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable dining experience.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand and entered our raffle. We loved catching up with familiar faces, meeting new delegates, and sharing what Rory's Group Australia has to offer.

Following another successful SASBA Annual Conference, we'd like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who visited the Rory's Group Australia team.

The conference provided a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with long-standing school partners, establish new relationships, and engage with education leaders and Business Managers from across South Australia. The passion, dedication, and commitment shown by those working within our school communities continue to inspire us.

As a proud Business Partner of the South Australian Schools Business Association, we greatly value opportunities like this to collaborate, share ideas, and better understand the evolving needs of the schools we support.

In May, our Catering Department was proud to support the Cancer Council's Biggest Morning Tea by creating a selection of themed catering options, featuring beautiful pops of yellow to reflect the spirit of the event.

From sweet boxes to freshly baked scones, these catering options helped organisations bring their teams together, raise awareness, and support a cause that touches so many Australians.

As part of the initiative, Rory's Group Australia pledged to donate 10% from every themed catering box ordered to the Cancer Council.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who placed an order and helped make a difference. Together, we supported an incredible cause while sharing some delicious treats along the way.

We're already looking forward to supporting the Biggest Morning Tea again next year! 💛

We’re incredibly proud to share that our very own Courtney Heynen has been recognised by the Rotary Club of Salisbury, SA, with a 2026 Pride in Work Award.

Courtney was nominated in recognition of the outstanding professionalism, customer service, and care she demonstrates in her role managing our Parent Helpline and Customer Service.

If you’ve ever been to our Head Office, chances are you’ve been greeted by Courtney. Whether she’s helping a parent with a last-minute lunch order, directing enquiries to the right department, or simply brightening someone’s day with her cheerful “Morning!”, Courtney approaches every interaction with kindness, patience, and a genuine willingness to help.
