Chester, our resident grandad of the paddock (34 years young ❤️), enjoying his lunch with some cute company (scavengers 🤣) today! 🥹

At his age, he’s well and truly earned the right to take life slow, enjoy his meals and let the younger generation keep him entertained. 🥰

Our beautiful old boy. ❤️

We’re a little bit late with our September’s employee of the month so Bruce can take out September AND a little bit of October 🙌🏻

Congratulations Bruce! 🏆🐓

Two months of recognition, absolutely no pay rise. Just how we like our employees! 😂

KEVIN! THAT IS THE WRONG SIDE OF THE FENCE! 🤦🏼‍♀️🐐

Luckily for Kevin (& us) , we’re good friends with all our neighbours… but at this rate those friendships may be short-lived. 🙈

Everyone says they love Kevin but I do wonder how far that love can stretch… 🤦🏼‍♀️

Mr Osborne Family Farm is onto the hot-wiring this weekend, so until then, Kevin has been returned to goat jail.

Repeat offender with no intention of changing his ways. 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️

And somehow, still everyone’s favourite. 🙄❤️

In comes… THE BORE! 🙌🏼

Not the most glamorous farm upgrade… but definitely one of the most important and long awaited!

Thanks to Britt’s Drilling Services for getting the job done for us! 👏🏼

✂️SHEARING DAY AT OSBORNE FAMILY FARM! ✂️

Today it was Henry the sheep 🐑 and Carl the alpaca’s 🦙 turn for their annual haircut… and they’re both looking considerably less fluffy! 😂

Annual shearing isn’t just about keeping them looking tidy — it’s an important part of keeping our boys healthy, comfortable and well cared for, especially heading into the warmer months. ☀️

While the shearer was here, they also got the full yearly maintenance package:
✂️ Shearing to remove that heavy fleece
💉 Vaccinations to help protect against preventable diseases
🐾 Toenails trimmed to keep their feet healthy and comfortable
🦷 Teeth checked and filed where needed
💊 Drenched for internal parasite control

It’s basically the farm-animal version of a haircut, pedicure, dentist and doctor’s appointment all rolled into one. 😂

Both boys were very brave patients… although we’re not entirely sure they’re impressed with their new summer bodies. 🤣

Another important job ticked off at Osborne Family Farm. ❤️🐑🦙
