Four new beauties arrived yesterday. They’ve been on very good pastures (aka too much oats and lupins given!) and two really could do with losing some (lots of) pounds! One boy who is an old lad with a bit of a nose injury. All will live out their days here and be cared for as they should be 🥰 My dream girl is the grey beauty, she’s as stately as they come 🥰

These two babies will be heading to their new home (with their mums and an aunty each, too!). So yesterday was a big alpaca husbandry day making sure they were all set 💙

Herd reduction. Sweet and gentle Willow, aged 4. Quiet and kooky Whisper, 9 months.
Willow has been a mum once and did a fabulous job producing a cria with a lovely temperament who is part of our herd.
Whisper is a blue eyed white, which means she is deaf. This doesn’t impact on her health in any way and as long as she has other alpacas around, she is perfectly fine.

This girl is supposed to be pregnant to our other stud male… I guess we try again this weekend!
