Two beautiful heifers (HBL Mackenzie and HBL Ariana) that we proudly sold at Trails West Texas Longhorns sale to Amari Cattle Company and now enjoying the good life at Drover's Ranch over in WA🤠

Looking at this photo I'm not sure who is more enthusiastic - the ones doing the pampering or the ones getting pampered...?

It's been a long time since our last 'Watusi Wednesday' but we think we made up for it with this photo👍 Sitting is F2 cow Majen and standing is F1 cow JD and her Thunderwolf heifer calf. The Ankole Watusi are spectacular cattle we are surely agree 🤠

It only seems like yesterday that this gentle giant was just a baby calf. Amigo is now a big boy and a favourite here and also a fave at Texas Longhorn Tours ....we love him a LOT❤️

No this isn't a couple photos of the same heifer a year apart, it's photos of two sisters (HBL Nova & HBL Shiloh) taken recently. They are both out of our Drag Iron cow Julee Jane and sired by Dickinson Cattle Co bull Cut'n Dried. They are both beautiful examples of the Texas Longhorn cattle breed with perfect temperment, colour, horns and just look at their conformation!
