DAY 14 — CAPE YORK ADVENTURE!
14 days down, almost 2,000 kilometres travelled, and 12 intrepid travellers making memories that will last a lifetime! 🚐🌅
What an incredible week Team 7 has had! From two nights at Gregory River to three unforgettable nights in Karumba, then on through Croydon and Mount Surprise - every day has brought something new, exciting and spectacular. 🤠🌴
And the experiences just keep coming! We’ve spotted an old salty croc chilling on the riverbank 🐊, enjoyed a magical sunset cruise, got up close with the incredible barramundi experience and shared plenty of campfire nights, BBQs and laughs, with our fantastic Tour Leader Rob keeping everyone well fed and entertained.
And then there’s our very own superstar… MALCOLM! 🐨
Our trusty mascot continues to keep everyone laughing wherever we go.
At Leichhardt Falls, Malcolm decided he was NOT ready to become a freshie snack! 🐊😂 He refused to come down from his tree while that hungry-looking croc was lurking below.
But Malcolm is growing up fast and has decided it’s time to pull his weight around camp — he’s even started learning how to wash up!
Still no luck getting him a koala beer, though… 🍺🐨
He’s a little slow on the uptake too. When the team called, “Let’s go, Malcolm!”, he realised he’d better run like the wind to catch up!
Now Team 7 is heading ever closer to the Tip!
We can’t wait to see what adventures are waiting around the next corner - and, of course, we’re looking forward to seeing the photos and hearing all about Malcolm’s next great Cape York adventure!
