So a little confusion Saturday so glad I waited till today to post. Saturday marks on pen showed

1st Cockerel Blue Copper Marans
Pullets
1st and breed Champion Blue Copper Marans
2nd Black Copper Marans
3rd Blue Copper Marans.

Unfortunately because there were only 3 Copper marans pullets and not 4 there can not be a breed Champion or 2nd and 3rd. So that was an error on judging day. These things happen :)

2nd im not sure which eggs, I didn't see a mark Saturday to say I'd won second but show office advised a 2nd in eggs.

I find it so frustrating that even the best photo still doesn't quite do the eggs justice. Colours just aren't the same....

I find it so frustrating that even the best photo still doesn't quite do the eggs justice. Colours just aren't the same. Here is a good example. Left taken tonight on kitchen table under light right taken outside this afternoon. Both taken on same phone both not edited. The left taken at night is the closest to the true colour of eggs.
