A little bit of good news for Valley Wine Tours.
I've been selected as a finalist in the 2026 Valleys Business Awards.
Valley Wine Tours is a small business and it's just me, the Staria, and the people who join me to explore the Barossa and Clare Valleys. So it's very nice to receive some local recognition for what I've been building.

There's also a People's Choice Award, and voting is now open. If you've toured with me, followed Valley Wine Tours, or simply like what I'm trying to do, I'd really appreciate your vote.

It's been a couple of years (2022) since I hosted this wonderful Clare Valley Tour. The family live in different parts of Australia, and got together in the Clare Valley for a few days.

The photos show vineyards with solid growth and the fields are still green. Nobody is wearing a jumper or overcoat. That means it's early November, when the vineyard managers watch out for late frosts, and everyone else just has a brilliant time.
November means new vintage releases, and its a perfect month for family catchups. Booking a local tour guide (me) who picks you up from your Clare Valley accommodation (not Adelaide) makes your day smooth and hassle-free. The sensational wine souvenirs you take home will eventually be consumed, but these memories will last a lifetime.

Book your November tour asap, my October dance-card is already very full.

The cold winter and the welcome drizzle is a perfect time to visit the wine regions of South Australia. Meet some experts, like George at Jim Barry's, and see the sights on a Valley Wine Tour.
Wine is always there. Rieslings and bold Shirazzes are just the beginning.
Local pickup and return is part of the service, so is a charcuterie platter.
Join me in the Clare or Barossa. I may be wearing a cap if it's a chilly day :-)

This little business has been focussing on encouraging real tourism for the region and sharing the places and stories of this beautiful area for quite a few years now.

The Shop the Valleys website is where consumers can easily search for real businesses. It isn't a government site, it's providing a need in the community.

A brilliant day of steady rain in the Barossa, and I had the pleasure of escorting these wonderful men from on an exploration of the region. It was a short visit, and I want to thank and for welcoming them. When most of their time in Australia is business meetings, I'm sure the authenticity of our Mid North created some wonderful memories of what Australia can offer the world.

And, when India is on your bucket list, contact Go India. This company does the big things, and I know they also do the little things right. That's what we all want when we book a tour 😀.

Moving into June!
