It’s been a humbling last week with our 2 boys selling at the 2026 Heartland Santa Gertrudis Breeders Group Sale!!

Pleased to see both bulls sell well in our first year of invited member of the Heartland Group.
Averaging $14,000 for the pair. Ribbleton Wazza (PS) going to EV Santas in Richmond QLD and Ribbleton Wesley heading to a commercial herd in Surat QLD.

A huge thanks to the Heartland group for the opportunity to sell our bulls through the group, the buyers and underbidder of the sale. Also, to the people who came out and show interest in the bulls and supported us.

Hope to see everyone again next year in what is shaping to be a huge year for the breed!!

Ekka 2026 🤩

The Ribbleton Show Team last show for the year ended last week at the Brisbane Royal Ekka.

RIBBLETON WHERE’S WALLY (PP), sired by Dunlop Thor T434, won 🥇his class 14 and under 16 months and went on to win 🏆 Reserve Champion Junior Bull !!!

Ribbleton Xavier (PS), sired by Ribbleton Humphrey, placed 🥈 in his class Bull under 12 months.

Forest Park Liz 2851 (P), sired by Moongana Pilgrim, received 🥉 in her big class being Female 20 and under 24 months.

Also, Santalands Yes Sir (PP), came out of the big class of Senior Bulls, Bull 22 and under 24 months with 4th.

A hats off to all the exhibitors of showing a high quality of Santa Gertrudis cattle during the week. Now onto Bull Selling and calving !! 🤞

Washed, fed, weighed, scanned and all ready for judging this Friday, 8:30am, ring 4.

Exciting news, we'll be offering 2 bulls as invited vendors at this year's Heartland Santa Gertrudis Breeders Group on the 9th of September at Roma Saleyards!!

Ribbleton Wesley and Ribbleton Wazza (PS) have a busy couple of months coming up. Both bulls will be on display at this year Brisbane Royal Ekka. Both will be semen morphology tested and vaccinated with -
> 7 in 1
> 3 Germ Blood
> Pestiguard
> Vibro

A big thanks to Prue Bygrave of CPB Livestock Photography for coming out to home and taking photos/videos of the bulls on the oats. The quality and professionalism of the final product is of such a high quality, was a pleasure to work with also.

Theodore Feature Show 26

A belated post of our dash up to Theodore Show that took place a couple weeks ago. 5 head ventured to the show with the Santa Gertrudis being the Feature breed of the show.

4 of the 5 head managed a ribbon. The Highlight for us was seeing both Forest Park Liz and Alice placing 🥇 and 🥈 in their respected female class.

Ribbleton Where’s Wally and Whitney both received 🥉 in their classes. A couple months off now for the team before Ekka.

A congratulations to all the other exhibitors for showing off there exhibits both lead and unlead in these tuff and testing times. Also a thanks to all the sponsors of the Feature section and the Santa Gertrudis Society for hosting the event.

Wandoan and Wallumbilla Show 26.

The last couple weekends have been very busy for Gus. He did a solo run out to the Wandoan Show with Ribbleton Whitney and Wesley. And the weekend just gone saw Gus trade in the lead ropes for the microphone to Judge the whole Stud Cattle section at the Wallumbilla Show.

Great to see a number of different breeds competing for Gus to run his eye over and comment on his opinion. We're very proud of his efforts going out and having a crack.

A thanks to the Wallumbilla Show Society and Ashlee White for the invitation for Gus to come along and assess the cattle!
