Our climate comprises warm/hot and wet (hopefully) summers with a cool dry period from May to Sept. Cattle handling work is not carried out all the time but mainly occurs in the dry period. Ours is a motorbike operation - we no longer use horses. Periodically we recruit staff from among overseas visitors (Insurance restricts us to over 25's). We provide accomodation and all meals and a gross wage

of $500.00 per week. The work may involve: stock handling, fencing, woody weed control, gardening, building, household duties, cooking etc. Your safety in our workplace is of paramount importance to us. Some of the things we look for in an employee is previous work experience/skills (farm hand, machinery operator, welder, builder, plumber, labourer etc.) a currernt drivers licence, physical fitness, good communication skill. We prefer non-smokers. Its not all about work. We encourage people to become involved in local activities that are on. Make sure you bring your camera.
