KOTODAMA - .kollective reminded me of the Japanese word “kotodama” 言霊 directly translated, it means “spirit of words”, use words to manifest your future.
Half-assing my dreams is something I don’t do. I have an unwavering belief in myself and the grit, and help from my family, to chase the vision I’ve set. Not because it’s easy, but because I never want to look back wondering, “What if ?” I work on my Kotodama regularly and ensure one foot is in front of the next towards my vision.
At the start of 2026, I shared a reel, my vision, to ensure my Kotodama was in motion:
🌱 A true paddock-to-van food experience.
🤝 Meaningful local collaborations.
♻️ Raising the bar on sustainability.
🚐 A new van.
⭐️Celebrating local makers

There have been endless setbacks, delays, and plenty of moments where it would’ve been easier to ease off.
But my vision stayed the same.
Now it’s time to do what we love most, serve even more delicious meals from the new van, get them out faster, and add a few exciting new menu items.
If you’ve got an idea, suggestion, or something you’d love to see on the menu, let us know. 💚
We will be getting our new signage in place so we apologise for any inconvenience caused in the interim.
Love these words 🙌🏻
